I’ve been neglecting this page again. Sigh. I’m better at keeping up with my Instagram pottery page, .and.chicks.pottery. Simpler format for me. But here is a bunch of things I’ve been working on lately!

Plates! For my sis. And tiny bowls of course ‘cause I’m still obsessed with tiny stacks of tiny bowls.

Designing a hand-built bowl.
Started with an idea.
Tried it out with paper and modified it a bit.
Created a paper pattern.
Rolled and cut the clay, then played around with how things looked as the bowl came together.
This process can sometimes be super frustrating.
Today it was totally satisfying.
The end result wasn’t exactly what I was thinking, and I want to modify my pattern, but I really like the bowl that resulted from the experiment.
