Things appear and disappear.

I love that photography records a slice of time.

The first one makes me think of “The fall and rise of Reginald Perrin”, but apart from the crop there are no strong connections apart from playing with light.

Hope you’ve all had a good Christmas and are looking forward to the new year.

It’s been a relaxing break here, with some time off-grid at a new spot on the Wairarapa coast for us -Mataikona. Followed by a quiet Christmas at home with good food and quality time with family.

So what’s in store here for the new year? My posting on instagram continues (and will continue) to evolve; less frequent, less consistent style wise, maybe more mini projects. I do enjoy using it as a means of liberating some photos from my hard drive and giving them an opportunity to see the light of day.

Thank you for the comments, feedback and reactions, I really appreciate hearing your insights.

Hope the new year is a good one for you and that for the photographers out there, there is an abundance of good light.
