🐓📸 I had so much fun yesterday photographing my chickens during one of their first adventures outside! It’s amazing how quickly they’ve grown, and each one has its own personality.
The colorful one is my handsome rooster, and with him I now have a flock of 11 chickens! I’m already looking forward to watching them grow and capturing more of their antics through my lens.
Nature has a way of providing some of the best photo opportunities. ❤️

Yesterday, I was at a family get-together, and some of the kids were having so much fun playing together. They were kind enough to let me capture a few photos, and it reminded me just how much I love photographing genuine moments like these. 🩷

This isn’t meant to be a great portrait—just a quick cell phone selfie to prove a point. 😊

See that soft, hazy morning sunlight? That’s some of my favorite light to photograph in. The haze acts like a giant natural diffuser, creating soft shadows, beautiful skin tones, and flattering light without the harsh contrast of bright midday sun.

I wish I had someone to photograph this morning because the lighting is just about perfect! Since I don’t, tomorrow’s plan is to head out and capture some landscapes while these conditions last.

Great photography isn’t just about the camera—it’s about recognizing beautiful light when nature gives it to you. 🌅📸

Last night’s sunset at the Mouth of the Huron was simply breathtaking. 🌅❤️
The sky glowed with layers of gold, orange, and pink as the sun slowly slipped below the horizon, leaving a perfect reflection across the calm waters of Lake Superior. Moments like this remind me why I never get tired of coming out here. Nature puts on the best show, and every sunset is a little different.

Sometimes the smallest flowers have the biggest personalities. I love getting down at their level and letting the garden become a soft, painterly world.

Yesterday’s view from the Mouth of the Huron. 🌊☀️
The midday sun isn’t exactly a photographer’s best friend, so the conditions were a bit of a challenge. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sometimes you just have to work with what Mother Nature gives you, and honestly… I think Lake Superior still knows how to put on a pretty good show.

Hoping for a colorful sunrise or sunset this weekend, but until then, I’ll happily take this beautiful view. 💙
