I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day (belated Valentine's Day), Galentine's Day, Single Awareness Day...whatever you call it, I hope it was awesome! Don't forget about all of that half price candy! 😉

The story of this painting is that it is one I did with a fellow artist and one of my dearest friends (who is like my sister). We painted these when Beauty and the Beast came out in theaters. With the most excitement, we booked our tickets two weeks in advance and saw the movie in the BIG theater. It was nothing short of awesome. And of course, we were inspired to paint the iconic rose. 🥀

With her perspective, my friend help me with the dimensions of color on my rose. In that moment, where I felt a little lost on what direction to take with the blending / the depth, she helped me to brighten it and in my opinion, fix it! I also used my perspective to help on areas of her painting. At the end of the day, we were a team! This is the story of a sisterhood.

Love can exist between significant others, family members, friends, etc. A brother or sister does not have to be blood for you to love them and feel that bond of family. It is simply a connection your heart has grown to know, bound and wrapped in love.

Remember love every day. Family, friends, pets, your faith...but don't forget you! Because you are worth it, and worthy of love.
