Currently I am mid-way through shooting two food short documentaries. One of the stories is based at a beautiful farm called , down in Mornington Peninsula.

Q&A

❓When did you start this project?

📸 This project began in October. Shooting is expected to conclude at around April. If you include editing, I reckon it'll go until at least June 2026.

❓What stage is the wheat/barley at right now?

📸 In October, they were green like grass. Just beautiful. Right now I believe most of them have senesced, and now carry a warm, golden colour.

❓What's been your favourite part of shooting this project so far.

📸 That's a good question. I've enjoyed so many components of this journey, starting from meeting the genuine, warm family, seeing the adorable bakery, trying their top-notch pastries, to learning about the wheat.

My favourite part though, is the peace at that at Tuerong as I feel with the wind blow my way. When standing at the top of the field, the view of the wheat and barley varieties gently swaying is mesmerising. Then, when the wind blows by, oh my gosh. Nothing can replace such a feeling. I could sit there for hours.

Up next is harvesting. I can't wait to see it, and show you! Big thanks again to for sharing your time and welcoming me to your beautiful farm.

Yesterday I heard behind me the voice of a person vibrate out sadness from her lungs.

"I'll have to spend Christmas alone in quarantine".

I heard her tears through her voice. So this post, this self-portrait series is dedicated to those around the world who experienced all that encompassed the experience of quarantine due to COVID-19.

Good morning and happy Monday everyone.

A few updates:

- ❤ Part one of my recent project is up. It has my personal thoughts about the beauty of our bodies, which are of course accompanied by images of the lovely Josette Penzel. Hope you enjoy. Shot on Portra 800 :).
