Stephanie Paterson Photography A pet is not just an animal, they're part of your family. How many photos do you have of your whole

I've always loved photography; I love bringing what I see to life so others can enjoy it too - there's nothing like sharing something beautiful! I also have a passion for dogs - with my husband, we share our house with three of them! They'll more than like appear a few times - they're my sort of willing models! I'm a great believer in giving when you can - so I try to work with charities whenever possible. I'm hoping you won't mind if I share their photos on here too!

It was Stanley's first foray into the studio today. It's not a perfect photo, but a perfect model can make up for everything!

He was an absolute star and seemed to love it - or was he more loving the treats?

Turning your phone upside down to take a photo allows you to get a lower point of view. This is old big ears himself proving this!

It was a lovely day at the weekend - so had to get the big camera out. Stanley's legs look like he's pinched them from a bigger dog!

He wasn't on a long walk - he's only allowed to do 15-20 minutes at a time, and didn't run for long - although most of the time he gave up and waited for Poppy to come back with the ball!

It’s National Black Dog Day & how could I not share a photo of my own black dog, Poppy.

Poppy has always been shy of having her photo taken, but I managed to capture this on my phone using her ball as “bait”.

Poppy has been very quiet since losing Dibbs in April, but the little terror, Stanley, has really bought out her playful self. It’s been great seeing her sense of fun and humour come out when playing with her new “baby brother”.

I think Poppy is enjoying having Stanley to play with, but I also think she can’t wait for day he can stop the stealth under the belly attacks!!

Tip - always have your phone handy for said stealth attacks!

I’ve put this on my personal page, but thought I’d share it here too!

We’ve been missing Dibbs like mad, so we decided to get another German Shepherd. As you may know, we’ve taken in multiple “second hand” dogs, but for safety reasons, rescues want you to have a six foot fence.

When Martin’s Mum moved into this house, she would spend hours talking to her neighbour over the garden fence. We now spend time talking to our neighbours over the same garden fence. For this reason, we didn’t want to get a six foot fence. As we can’t take in a rescue, we have waited to see if a German Shepherd would “turn up”, but it’s not happened, yet.

Therefore, meet Stanley. He’s 10 weeks old tomorrow, and is already taking over our lives! His feet are HUGE - they look like they belong to another dog!

Warning - expect to be spammed with pictures of him!

It was the perfect day to see a rainbow disappear into the clouds today. I wasn’t sure whether to be happy or sad, but decided to be uplifted, thinking of all those furry friends I’ve known over the years were stood there, watching me walk Poppy. I gave them a wave and blew a kiss!

It's National Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, and I thought I'd share a picture of the lovely little girl who made me take up photography.

This is Buffy - this is probably the only photo where she sat and let me take a photo of her. Normally, if she saw a camera pointed her way, or even if she saw your phone being lifted her way, she would either walk off, or even turn her back on you!

It was when we lost her that I realised I only had this one reasonably good photo of her, and therefore decided to go on a photography workshop. Buffy is still remembered and absolutely adored!

Please feel free to add and share your own tribute to your friends over the Bridge!
