Running is my greatest weapon — and also my greatest joy. What I experience while running, I don’t experience in any other sport. Running in triathlon is a different kind of challenge, but I love that too. When the legs are already tired, the real race begins in the mind. Yes, it hurts. But that is exactly what gives every kilometre at the finish line its value.

Beh je moja najväčšia zbraň aj radosť. To, čo zažívam pri behu, nezažívam v žiadnom inom športe. Beh v triatlone je síce úplne iná káva, ale milujem aj ten. Keď sú už nohy unavené, nastupuje „beh hlavou“. Áno, bolí to – ale o to väčšiu hodnotu má každý jeden kilometer v cieli.
