I had the privilege to capture baby Sofia's baptism. The ceremony was set in a beautiful Serbian Orthodox Church. Families and friends gathered to witness, celebrate and bless the rebirth of baby Sofia. It is my first time observing an Orthodox baptism, the rituals and prayers are sacred and solemn. What a unique and amazing experience.

This family is so darling. We met at the lovely Blackhill Regional Park in Germantown MD. They have a two-year-old boy and a two-month-old baby. Two-year-olds are the bosses of my sessions, they do what they want to do. This boy didn’t want to participate at first, but we found some activities that he really enjoyed, such as throwing leaves and sitting in a blanket swing. His baby brother was so chill the entire time. I had so much fun with this family. It reminds me of when my kids were babies. The days seem slow, but years fly by. I’m so glad I was able to capture this precious and fast fleeing time of their family.

I had an absolutely wonderful time photographing this family. After a week of freezing temperature, we were given the perfect weather for our outdoor shoot at Kentlands Gaithersburg. Life with small children can be busy and chaotic, but at the same time, parenthood is beautiful! I am so grateful to be able to capture a snippet of the love and connection this family shares with each other.
