A gorgeous September day in Cape May for Mary Catherine and Sam’s wedding at the Corinthian Yacht Club. Their ceremony was at the quaint St. Peter’s By the Sea in Cape May Point and it was pretty surreal getting to photograph a wedding there. That part of town holds a really special place in my heart, and I’ve always admired the beauty and magical stillness of that community.

So excited for these two to tie the knot later this fall. I’m looking forward warmer weather, engagement sessions, and ending almost every summer evening barefoot on the beach with a camera in my hand.

I’ve been quiet here - the world has felt unbearably heavy. There is real fear, pain, and heartbreak in our communities right now, especially for immigrants and their families, and it deserves to be named.

Sharing wedding work can feel frivolous in moments like this, but I believe telling people’s love stories still matters. Love and joy don’t disappear in times of injustice and choosing to bear witness to them is not denial, it’s resistance.

Weddings (just like most things) are political because who gets to feel safe, celebrated, and at home matters. I care deeply about immigrants, about my neighbors, and about standing for what is humane and just.

I’ll always be clear about where I stand and I’ll keep showing up with both honesty and hope. With that said, I’m hoping to feel less paralyzed with anxiety and continue sharing images of love, joy and humanity in a time when we need it the most.

Happy Friday! I’ve been holding onto these sneak peeks for wayyy too long, and I swear this app needs to let us share more than 20 photos because narrowing these down was nearly impossible.

Cristina & Larry’s fall wedding in Wildwood Crest was truly something special. One of the things Cristina talked about from the very beginning was how meaningful it was to get ready in her family’s bayfront home where she grew up - and especially to have photos on that staircase. It all came full circle in the sweetest way, and there were plenty of happy tears throughout their day.

It was so hard to narrow these sneak peeks down to just 20 slides, but somehow I managed. Ashley & Lou’s wedding day flew by in the blink of an eye - every moment was pure joy from start to finish. These high school sweethearts tied the knot in Avalon at and celebrated with the most romantic, candlelit reception.

During this busy fall wedding season, I’ve been pretty off the grid when it comes to my phone. Most days have been spent deep in Lightroom edits, and I had to get seriously laser focused to launch my rebrand. Since I’ve been a bit MIA for most of the year, I wanted to share a few things I’ve been loving lately - both in life and while photographing weddings.

Horseback riding lessons: Easily one of my favorite days of the week. I’ve always loved animals, and there’s something about being around horses that feels so grounding and therapeutic.

Tuesdays with Owen: Owen’s home from daycare on Tuesdays, and we’ve made it our little tradition to start the day with breakfast and coffee (usually at ), then head out for a walk on a trail or a morning at the beach.

Girls trip to Charleston: In early October, I went to Charleston with my two best friends of 20+ years. It poured all weekend, but we talked, ate, drank, and shopped in the rain — and honestly, it was perfect. I love that city. There’s inspiration everywhere in the architecture and colors.

Film photos: I’ve been bringing my film camera on trips and using it to capture little everyday moments at home.

Family fall activities: We went “pumpkin picking,” and Owen was obsessed with trick-or-treating this year.

Flash in full sun: I’ve been loving using flash in full sunlight lately. It adds such a cool, editorial edge - especially in detail shots like this bouquet.

To Be Magnetic: I’ve been diving into the “How to Manifest” book and the Deep Imaginings in the TBM app. Starting the day with a short meditation and journaling before bed has been really grounding.

The Sculpt Society: I’ve been all about the “everything but the reformer” workouts lately. They’re quick, fun, and make me feel so good after sitting at my desk all day.

Really long outdoor walks first thing in the morning: My usual route is about three miles, but I’ve been switching it up here and there. Sometimes I listen to a podcast, and other times I just enjoy the quiet and fresh air.

My Pinterest board of winter home inspo: Once editing season slows down, I’m so excited to tackle a few home projects. I’ve got so many ideas saved!

This rebrand feels like such a reflection of the growth, wisdom, and clarity that’s come over the past five years. So much has changed - both in business and in life. Becoming a mom has given me a deeper appreciation for capturing the real moments - the ones that are raw, emotional, and beautifully imperfect. Real life isn’t perfect, and that’s exactly what makes it so worth remembering.

To be completely honest, I’ve been feeling really uninspired lately when it comes to posting here. Not because I don’t have incredible love stories and weddings to share (I do, and I’m obsessed with my couples and their photos) - but because the energy, the actions, and the rhetoric in our country and our world right now are scary. It’s hard to feel excited about sharing creative work when every day seems to bring devastating breaking news.

Sometimes it feels like sharing my work is trivial. But then I remember, what I want most is to create and share beautiful, human moments. Images that tell a story of love, connection, and joy.

And in a world that so often tries to weigh us down and make us feel powerless, choosing to share joy - in all forms - still matters.

So today I picked some photos of one of my favorite engagement sessions of all time. A day where I ran around Cape May Point’s beach early in the morning with these two, without a care in the world, and had so much fun documenting their love.
