Almost four years.
It honestly doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, but life has a way of changing your plans.
Almost four years ago, my camera broke, and around that same time I welcomed my second little boy into the world. Between raising two boys, work, and everything else that came with this season of life, photography had to take a back seat. It wasn’t an easy decision because I truly loved what I did, but my family needed me, and I wouldn’t trade those years for anything.
Even though I wasn’t behind the camera, I never stopped seeing the beauty in the little moments. Watching my own boys grow reminded me just how quickly time flies and how important it is to preserve the memories that become our favorite stories someday.
Some of you have been here since I was Moments by Megan, and I can’t thank you enough for sticking around while I was gone. Whether you followed my journey, checked in on me, or wondered if I’d ever pick up my camera again, your support has meant so much.
Now, after almost four years, a brand-new camera, and a whole lot of growth, I’m finally ready.
I’m so excited to introduce Rust & Rose Photography Co. 🤎🌾📸
This isn’t just a new name, it’s a new chapter. It reflects who I am today, the style I’ve fallen in love with, and the experience I want every family to have when they step in front of my lens.
To everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and patiently waited for this day… thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I can’t wait to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and get back to doing what I love most, capturing the moments you’ll cherish long after the day is over.
