What a way to spend a Thursday evening in the fabulous setting of Shawbrook’s outdoor stage area set in a forest. Which has a new large canopy cover for the audience with seating and tables. The free show of the work in progress expressive dance, this week coming from Kelly Keesing who has a residency in Shawbrook sponsored by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon . Kelly and collaborators are working on and developing ‘Speak to Me’, a piece exploring memory, fragile inbetween space of inner and outer worlds, through the research of movement, with a focus on visualising hidden physical language. I wish Kelly and collaborators all the best on the exciting piece going forward, I am sure it will be a great success. Thanks to Shawbrook for the free showing and the delightful space it is set in.
