Looking back, a lot of April was spent outside, in the streets and on the road. I also said goodbye (multiple times) to Leo, and my sister came to visit, which was awesome. This is what it looked like.

"Tyde" is the English root word for both chronological time and the tides of the ocean. This March, I could feel the days condensing and dilating like waves. Hitting fast, slowing down. Past and present mixing, with beautiful connections reappearing after many years, and others forming anew. As always, looking back fills me with gratitude.

February was a month of self care and spending time with my close ones. Also a lot of Tết trees.

I've been working on a new project to get myself back into the habit of shooting every day: a photographic diary to recap each month of 2024. I've also been recording soundscapes in various locations, and using them as soundtracks just seemed the natural thing to do. This was my January, through the mountains of Laos and the nightlife of Hanoi, accompanied by many amazing people.
