British Virgin Islands Film Commission

British Virgin Islands Film Commission Welcome to the British Virgin Islands. The premier filming location in the entire Caribbean! Come Experience the BVI LOVE!

The BVI Film Commission was established over 25 years ago to facilitate and encourage film productions coming into the unique Caribbean country. With the mission of being the premier filming location in the entire Caribbean, the BVI Film Commission’s purpose is to act as a liaison between the film/photography producers and all relevant Government agencies, particularly Customs, Labour and Immigrat

ion Departments, National Parks Trust and the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force. From experienced crews, knowledgeable and connected Local Production Managers (LPMs) to rolling green hills, crystal clear waters and seemingly never-ending white powdery sandy beaches, the BVI can match any tropical story board with endless opportunities beyond your imagination above or below sea level.

Caribbean Day at the Marché du Film was a success.

As a proud sponsor of this year’s Caribbean Day, the British Virgin Islands Film Commission joined regional film commissions, filmmakers, producers, actors and creatives from across the Caribbean to celebrate the power of Caribbean storytelling on the global stage at the Festival de Cannes.

From engaging panel discussions and networking opportunities to cultural showcases and industry connections, the event highlighted the Caribbean’s growing influence within the international film industry while positioning the Virgin Islands as a filming location. 🇻🇬

The conversations sparked, partnerships formed and stories shared throughout the day reinforced one message that the Caribbean has a powerful place in global cinema, and the Virgin Islands is proud to be part of that movement.

Special thanks to Mark Walton of Onyx Global Media for the opportunity to be part of such an impactful event and for helping to create a space where Caribbean creatives and destinations could shine together on the international stage. 🙌🏾
