It's crazy to me when I think back to where I was 5 years ago when I first met and worked with Stephen Philip Harvey - Saxophonist and Composer. Fast forward to 2025 - which marks my 10th anniversary as a photographer. To have artists who continue to book sessions and gigs with me year after year is something I will always be grateful for. There is a sea of talent surrounding me, and it's not lost on me that at any point in time, I could be replaced. But for today, and gigs like last weekend, I'm reminded that there will always be enough to go around. What's meant for me will never miss me.

Happy new year from the HG camp! We’re emerging from our deep holiday slumber to work on our next full length record at in a few weeks. Studio time is booked for the end of February and you better believe you’ll get some sneak peeks while we’re knocking it all out.

The 10th anniversary of our first EP is next Monday! Most of you should have your physical copies already but the digital version will release on the 13th for your virtual audio pleasure. If you haven’t snagged a copy yet, we are running low on the splatter variant in both the US and Europe, but still have plenty of the purple to go around. We’ve also partnered with Plastikat Deviations once again to provide a few liquid filled versions of the record available late Jan/early Feb. The best way to get first dibs is by either joining our Discord or Facebook group.

Ronny Chieng is a stand up comic, The Daily Show correspondent, and currently starring in Interior Chinatown on Hulu.

His upcoming special, "Love to Hate It," will be streaming on Netflix beginning December 17th.

I'm grateful to have been asked to capture his performance at the Byham this past weekend. It was my first time in the space and the architecture and ceiling mural were *chefs kiss*

Also, huge thanks to my photo assistant for the evening, Jordan, who made my job so much easier and more enjoyable! 😊
