If someone were to ask us what one of the most epic things we’ve ever done is — documenting Emma + Sam’s elopement in Yosemite would make the list. Not just for the incredible views Yosemite is famous for or experiencing them for the first time, but for the fact that this journey was truly all encompassing of our careers as filmmakers and past-time adventurers.

As Emma and I tended to our sore feet at the bottom of the 4 mile trail to Glacier Point the immensity of the journey we had just accomplished began to sink in — I think our favorite part about the 24 miles we backpacked alongside Emma + Sam was how full-circle it all was. They embarked on this trip as engaged and as the miles kept on we heard of all the stories of their relationship leading up to this point, we saw their love expressed over shared MREs and groggy 2:45am hugs, and after sharing their vows which perfectly summarized each story and obvious commitment they have to each other, they hiked down as newlyweds.

Emma + Sam’s elopement film will hold a special place in our hearts and truly embodies this experience as a whole — for now, here is a peek into this amazing adventure ✨

Rebecca + Todd got married at The St Vrain in Colorado and had a beautiful celebration of their love that’s grown over the past ten years. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family who have been a part of their relationship from the very beginning.⁣

They had every guest wear all black and listened to some of the most heartfelt toasts we’ve ever heard while sitting in front of an amazing ‘til death’ neon sign. Rebecca + Todd brought allll the vibes to their wedding day — a day overflowing with love. ⁣

Since moving back to the East Coast we’ve been asked very frequently what it’s like shooting here as opposed to the Rocky Mountains. Shooting out west is amazing, the landscapes and views are incredible — but the truth is every session is only as beautiful as the love your documenting. Whether it’s the coastline, or a 14,000ft. mountain, or a park you’ve been going to since you were young — It’s all about the craft and the feeling, and we’ll help you capture that from coast to coast. That’s what we love, that’s what sets our creative souls on fire. Not relying on perfect scenery but capturing true, real love no matter the location. ⁣

Loved every minute of this glamping styled shoot and working with this dream team of vendors. There’s no one else we’d rather wake up at sunrise, hike a mountain, and glamp at an alpaca farm while eating pancakes with than this crew — guess you had to be there. The best part is this could be you! With a little help from these talented folks, the possibilities for your day are endless. ⁣

What a weeeek! We kicked off our wedding season last Saturday with Sarah + Vincent’s beautiful ceremony by 100ft tall white sand beach cliffs that took your breath away. On Monday we packed up and moved to our new incredible apartment/studio which has an incredible spiral staircase and the most amazing light you’ve ever seen (I’m talking 10ft tall windows😍). There’s so much potential for this space, we cannot wait to share with you and start creating awesome content in our studio for you all!

We had so much fun at Lexi Foster Photography studio and home yesterday shooting some awesome brand content. We got to interview Lexi about her incredible story and see this talented girl in action during a pillow fight session that resulted in her potentially finding feathers in her home forever (sorry Lex!). Today we’re hiking a mountain to help capture the rest of her story which we are so excited and honored to tell.

Tomorrow and this weekend is jam packed with shoots and client meetings, we’ll be bouncing between the mountains and ocean and couldn’t be happier about that! Busy, busy over here but loving every minute. Cannot wait to share all of the things we have cookin’ over here and so excited for all that’s ahead!
