With just fourteen (14) of you committed today to the team's last league Trqck and Field meet, you were asked to carry the team in all events today. I asked the fourteen of you to come together and decide if you wanted to split up and the Frosh/Soph run at their level to get wins and let Varsity go by the wayside since you all were put in an unforgiving position. You all came together and decided to compete at the Varsity level to help our six (6) Seniors and this team try to get a share of second (although at time we thought we were battling for a share of the league championship).

We may have fallen short but YOU ALL step up today and competed in events you usually don't compete in at the higher level to try to get the job done. I can not express in words how proud I am of you all.

Fourteen (14) athletes (six Seniors, three Juniors, two Sophomores, and three Freshmen), to compete in all High School Track and Field events at the Varsity level.

Fourteen total in all events at the Varsity level.

Fourteen, that is crazy!

The grit you all showed today. You endured them fatigue, the pain, and the unfamiliarity of new events for most.of you to give your teammates a chance to get a meaningful win in what will be for some their last Track and Field meet in their high school career. It has been an honor and blessing to coach you group of champions this season. Thank you so very much!🙏🏿

When that young lady who you used to train comes to the school you train others athletes presently and walks away with the tourney championship it looks like this... Congrats Ash🏅.
