Today, we are so excited to officially launch The Yakutat Promise!
The idea behind this is simple: our children should be able to come to school ready to learn, knowing there will be food available if they need it.
The Yakutat Tlingit Tribe has made the first promise with a $5,000 founding commitment - and before we even officially launched, a community member stepped forward with an incredible $1,000 donation. ❤️
Now we are asking Yakutat to join us.
Whether it’s $10, $25, $100, sponsoring a lunch, donating food or supplies, volunteering, or simply sharing this post - every promise matters.
This is something we will build together, one breakfast, one lunch, one donation and one act of kindness at a time.
Founded by the Yakutat Tlingit Tribe. Built by community.
