As a full time musician, I enjoy capturing photos as a side hustle.

I originally planned to focus on Motorcycles, Vehicles and Musicians, but as the journey unfolds, I've been hired to do more and more other types of sessions such as this from a Prom a few weeks ago.

My style is my style.

There are MANY Professional Photographers out there who can give you exactly what YOU want.

The people who trust me with their memories are also doing just that. They like the way I "see" things and my editing style so I am honored to be a part of their lives and I LOVE spending time with them while taking the pictures.

Stillwater Junction asked me once again to do their new photo shoot featuring their new bass guitarist.

This time, they chose Old Nick Williams Company Farm & Distillery for their location and it was a perfect pairing with their new single, "Like Whiskey".

Out of almost 200 shots (not bourbon....) these are my personal favorites.

Well, it appears I am now available for Senior Year/Graduation sessions!

I've done a few for friends and enjoyed them so much, but after this last one, I've decided that I am certainly ready to do more!

This young lady has basically been a part of my extended family since she was a little girl so I was honored when she asked me to do her photos!

There were around 292 GREAT shots, but here are MY personal favorites...

I spent yesterday evening with my friends Sutton Band and they once again entrusted me with their photo shoot.

I think I took around 195 shots so the entire session will take awhile to get edited, but here are just a few that jumped out to me personally.

When I decided to start doing photography on the side (shortly after I got sober three years ago), I chose to put my focus on Musicians, Motorcycles and Classic Cars.

I had no idea I would be doing graduation, prom, couples and NOW 18th Birthday sessions, but I'm honored when people like my style and ask to hire me.

This young lady has become a family friend and she would never agree, but she could totally be a professional model (but one of the REAL ones who are not fake and plastic).

Anyway- here are just a few of my personal favorites from our photo session the other day.

3/17/2026 - The Mason Jar at Claytor Lake:

As most of my followers know by now, I never get a night to listen to other musicians and when I do, it's always a joy.

Last night, my friend Bradley Steele asked me to be part of a lineup of VA musicians for a Saint Patrick's Day event and I was overjoyed to accept.

My wife and I met the friendliest people on earth I'm certain.

My name is well known in so many parts of NC, but in VA... I'm the new guy and NOBODY knows me. I LOVE THAT.

I am hoping to book some events up that way and bring the "JVC MOJO" to their communities soon enough.

Here are some photos I took while the other performers were doing their thing.

Each artist was unique and authentic in their own way and THAT captivated me all night.

Billy Steele joined me on drums and then I jumped up on guitar with him and Bradley for a few songs before the night was over.

Chase Duncan brought the STOMP with some rugged country classics. *His drummer, Chad smiled all night and I knew we needed to become friends.

Phillip Ring had a total chill vibe about his humanity and music. I loved his song choices. His lady (happy birthday!) was just as sweet and I had to steal a few photos of her intently watching his performance. Guys, GET YOU A LADY THAT LOOKS AT CHASE THE WAY SHE DOES (and the way Kimberly looks at me).

Charles Davis was playing a 1963 Gibson and he brought his own classic energy with him. My favorite song was, "NO THANK YOU NASHVILLE" and his cover of "Willing" by Little Feat.

Moments like this are good for the soul.

Today, I took photos of my new friend (and I know that's what he already is) Raphael Graves.

He's new to our local music community, but he's not new to music in the least.

He and his wife relocated to the Triad recently from the NC Mountains near Asheville.

I was introduced to him by a fellow artist who said "we MUST know one another". He was right.

Follow his page for events and updates and you will see why he is sure to become one of the most booked Artists in the area.

Thank you to Robert Hall for allowing us to use your beautiful indoor event space and thank you to Radar Brewing Company for making it possible.

I can honestly say this may have been my favorite session to date. Out of 90 great photos, here are my personal favorites.

I had a random Saturday off so my wife and I visited the amazing Christian Paul Vineyards to hear my new friend Raphael Graves perform.

I KNEW this guy would be a good fit for this venue when I made the introduction and I could not have been more on the money!

I can't wait to do some events with him. We share MUCH of the same musical influences!
