An Update on John's Health from his sister Mary Jo, and it's not good.

After a bout with Covid, John was admitted to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena with heart and breathing problems.

Today, Saturday (August 26) a doctor called me to say his heart rate cratered and he's been moved to intensive care.

PLEASE PRAY FOR JOHN.

It's touch and go, to the point that the doctors asked him for end of life instructions. He could pull through, but the doctor warned me that it's possible he'll pass. Unfortunately, I'm in Boston, and can't be there with him.

Hi everyone! John Bilecky's sister Mary Jo with another update. A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks. John still needs your help! He's had a rough couple of weeks.

First, he spent a couple of weeks in a behavioral hospital getting his meds adjusted. Not only is John experiencing memory issues, but depression and anxiety as well.

After returning to Arbor Vista, the assisted living facility where he's staying, he came down with a virus that knocked him for a pretty big loop. He's recovering, but still feeling under the weather, which is why he has not been on Facebook much.

At this point, John can't live on his own and needs lots of help. His social security covers rent, but he still has expenses to cover, which is why this fundraiser exists.

Thanks to your generosity, we'll be able to pay September rent. However, we're still fundraising to meet our goal, so that John can remain living in a safe place. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. Also, if John's friends could spread this fundraiser on their social media and email accounts, that would help a lot. Thank you!!

Hi! I'm John Bilecky's sister, Mary Jo, and I am posting this message on his behalf. We have started a new GoFundMe to raise much needed funds for his rent and expenses.

After being treated for cancer last year, John began struggling with memory problems that are NOT improving. Currently, he's living in assisted living in Pasadena, California. The rent is more than his social security check, and there are still expenses to cover.

Also, John is in the hospital right now being treated for his neurological problems. Many of you generously contributed to his fund last year, and we thank you. But now that the situation has changed--not for the better, we need to ask again.

Anything you could spare would be appreciated. Also, if you could spread the fundraiser on your socials and emails, that would be fantastic, and so appreciated. Thank you! If you have any questions, message John and I'll get back to you.
