Jason Bentsman is a writer of literature and fine art photographer. In his photos generally he tries to capture that which cannot be captured, which is to say, the transcendent. He finds this much more of an intuitive than rational process. His work has been described as metaphysical, cinematic, nostalgic, and dreamlike. Maine artist Marcia Crumley is known for her joyful, layered landscape paintings. Her practice is defined by an intuitive process of layering, resulting in richly textured surfaces that reveal themselves gradually. Meet our studio mates in 201 in The Crompton Building… Sarah Brueck working glass and beads and KB Designs custom handmade jewelry and repairs. Sarah’s Luna Moth wings are now complete. She has two stained glass pieces in the Fairy Hollow exhibition at New England Botanical Society at Tower Hill that runs Aug 29-October 25. Kim is always working on new ideas and creating beautifully crafted one of a kind pieces, custom engagement rings, and unique statement pieces. Got an idea? She can make it come to life. She repaired a special ring so quickly that I could not wear for years! Come visit out new space for art, workshops with Juniper Rag Contemporary, design, marketing and artist services as well as modern stained glass and custom jewelry—all in one place. We heard a new visitor exclaim yesterday, “Ok this place is unreal! This building is officially my favorite in Massachusetts!” Hope to see you for our Grand Opening on September 12. We are open from 10-6 that day with festivities from 4-6.
