Opening the door to all the feels today with posting about her shoot. Today I'm sharing about the concept and ex*****on of the talented artists I worked with.
The Ask: Honor a Lifetime Before a Double Mastectomy
The Human: Aaronica is so many things to so many people. But in this space I wanted her to feel beautiful, magical, strong, and really have fun within the divine feminine. Honoring herself, her journey, her breasts, and highlighting the choice. As a plus sized sewist she is changing the way people view clothing and how they feel about themselves.
The Concept: A goddess, sewing herself with words of affirmations and magic.
MUA & Esthetician (Also Bubble Master) was the first person I thought of who could bring this vision to life. It took her no time at all to sketch a rough draft and develop this vision with me.
Creator is the Fantasy Queen! So immediately after makeup I messaged her for wings and the crown. She's extremely talented!
As for the dress, I wanted Aaronica to have a physical addition to this concept shoot. So that when she wears the dress or looks at it, she remembers that she made it. Literally & Emotionally. So of course for the dress.
All of this to say, this creation would not have come to fruition without the talent I've come to consider friends. I'm honored, blessed, and just in awe of these people and this project.
