Signing both books at my favorite childhood bookstore this Sunday from 11am-1pm at The Country Bookseller in Wolfeboro, NH. Carved in Granite is the story behind the legend of Chocorua, set in 1722 when New Hampshire was still a province. Beneath the Surface Waters is a middle grade fantasy in the ancient depths of Lake Winnipesaukee.

I have not seen the juvenile eagle in some time and believe that it has left the area to explore the world. The mating pair of eagles are bonding and hunting together again, staying cool and even getting along with the abundant great blue herons.
