I have been wanting to capture more Milkyway images. This image was just taken from my driveway. It is 12 images stacked together along with 12 dark images to remove any hot pixels. It's than all put together using Photoshop and Adobe Camera RAW. It's quite the process to bring out the whole image. Still working on my work flow.

The wildfire smoke tonight is terrible. Holy Hill and Friess lake can be seen in the smoky distance.

Wow!!! Check this out!
The goal that I had for this shoot was to capture the Sun setting behind Holy Hill that would also include the Sunspots!
I managed to capture them right between the Churches steeples! I'm so amazed by this. I did not think this was going to work out due to the atmospheric haze, or thin clouds that was present. This is the first shot that I'm aware of that features both Holy Hill and the Sun's sunspots. 😍
I used a Solar filter to capture this image.

This year's total Lunar Eclipse was one that I will never forget. Had the great opportunity to shoot alongside Jeff Showers, and John Roundhouse Luetzow on Johns family farm in Watertown WI. We shot the whole night from start to finish. Thankful for beautiful weather good friends, tons of laughs and great stories. Wow what a great time. We ran two star trackers along with 2 insta 360 cameras and a few other cameras to capture different prospectives, and compositions.
