Fall semester is officially here! 📚🍂

Classes started this week, and this semester I’m stepping into some of the harder classes instead of sticking mostly to electives. And whew… I forgot just how complex math can get. 😂 But one thing about me, I’m not going to let it whoop me!

Every assignment, every class, and probably every frustrated moment over a math problem 😂 is another step toward the future I’m working for. One day, I want to own and grow my own photography business, and knowing I’m actively working toward that makes me so happy. 📸❤️

I’m also really thankful for the season of life we’re in. I get to work toward something that’s mine while still being home, homeschooling our babies, taking them to their activities, and watching my husband thrive in his career too. We’re both working toward our goals while building the life we want for our family, and that means everything to me.

It might get a little chaotic around here this semester, but I’m ready for it. 😂 Here’s to hard classes, late-night assignments, homeschool days, chasing dreams, and refusing to give up when things get tough.

I had the sweetest senior session recently! 🎓📸💗

We captured some beautiful senior photos, but we also made sure to include a little piece of where she’s headed next. After graduation, she plans to attend cosmetology school, so of course we had to pull out the cosmetology props and have some fun with it! 💇🏼‍♀️✂️🪮

One of my favorite things about senior photography is getting to capture not only who someone is right now, but also a little glimpse of who they’re becoming.

Graduating high school is such a huge milestone. There’s so much ahead, so many decisions to make, and so many dreams waiting to be chased. I’m so thankful I got the opportunity to capture this chapter for her before she steps into the next one. 🥹❤️

Congratulations, girl! I hope cosmetology school is everything you’re dreaming of and more. Keep chasing those goals! 🎓✨

And with every session, I’m learning more, getting more comfortable behind my camera, and falling even more in love with photography. 📸🫶🏼

Last night, I had the opportunity to take summer baseball photos, and my heart was so full. ⚾📸

Just a little while ago, I completed my very first photoshoot. Now I’m getting to stand on the sidelines capturing kids doing what they love. It’s such a rewarding feeling.

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. Every time I pick up my camera, I notice something new I want to improve, and that’s what keeps me excited. Progress doesn’t happen overnight, but every session helps me become a better photographer.

There is something so special about freezing those moments that parents never want to forget. The smiles, the determination, the celebrations after a great play. Those are memories that deserve to be kept forever.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your memories and encouraged me along the way. Your support means more than you know.

This past weekend was a big first for me 🥹📸

I did my very first official photoshoot, and it was for my aunt's 40th birthday! What an honor to get to capture such a special milestone for someone I love.

We laughed so much, made some sweet memories, and I learned a lot along the way. Are there things I want to improve? Absolutely. Every photographer starts somewhere, and I'm excited to keep learning and growing with each session.

I'm really proud of myself for stepping outside my comfort zone and just going for it. You can't get better if you never start.

Yesterday was all about celebrating the man who makes this life so special. ❤️

Watching Shane be a father is one of my greatest blessings. He works hard, loves his family fiercely, and never hesitates to show up for us. Whether he’s coaching from the sidelines, playing ball with the kids, fixing things around the house, or simply making us laugh after a long day, he gives his whole heart to this family.

Our babies are so lucky to call him Dad, and I’m so thankful I get to do life alongside my best friend.

Father’s Day isn’t about gifts or big celebrations. It’s about taking a moment to appreciate the men who lead, love, provide, and make their families feel safe and cherished.

Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy our kids could ask for. We love you more than words can say. 💙

And looking at this picture, my heart is full. This little family we’ve built together is everything we ever dreamed of and more. 🫶🏻🏡✨

A dear friend once told me, “When you find what you’re meant to do, it won’t feel like you’re working your life away.”

I’ve thought about those words a lot lately.

College hasn’t come easy for me. I’ve never been much of a paper writer, and there have definitely been tears along the way. But here I am, still showing up, still pushing through, and making A’s. That’s something I’m really proud of.

As a stay-at-home mama of two busy kids, life doesn’t slow down very often. Between sports, family time, homemaking, and everything else on my plate, finding time for school can be a challenge. More times than I can count, I’ve worked on assignments from the ball field, in the car, or wherever I could squeeze in a few minutes.

But I’m doing it.

Every class brings me one step closer to learning more about art and photography, two things I’m genuinely passionate about. For the first time in a long time, I can see the path ahead, and I’m excited for where it’s leading.

Life isn’t always easy, but it’s ours. I’m so thankful that Shane and I took control of our future and chose to build a life that feels right for our family.

We’re living dreams we once only talked about.

And the best part? We’re just getting started. ❤️📚📸
