Thank you, Winona County Fair!

Jizhang’s photographs earned six 1st-place, two 2nd-place, and two 3rd-place ribbons in the Senior Division. We’re so grateful for this encouragement and for such a wonderful first-year experience.

Jizhang just submitted 12 photos to the Winona County Fair! As a first-year exhibitor, there’s still so much to learn, but it’s been a wonderful experience and a great opportunity to grow.

We had the opportunity to visit Alexander Mansion Historic B&B and present Richard, the owner, with a displayed print of the mansion from the “Seasons of Winona” exhibition.

Jizhang and his wife, Yingmin, stayed at the mansion last fall while celebrating Yingmin’s 69th birthday. They were deeply impressed by the beauty, history, and hospitality of the mansion, and their stay became a truly memorable experience.

To their surprise, Jizhang discovered that he had already photographed the mansion during one of his daily walks—long before learning its story or ever staying there.

It was wonderful to revisit the mansion and spend time learning more about Richard’s life story. We look forward to visiting again soon.
