It was a crappy night on June 12 at the Goshen Stampede. The Barrel Racers tried their best under monsoon rains. Here's some photos showing what they, their mounts, and a few hearty rodeo fans endured.

So what do you do when you're just a kid, and the big day comes at the Goshen Stampede on Friday night. All the days of training with your mount, all the cleaning of tack, and braiding, and the excitement.....then it rains cats and dogs!! What do you do? You get out there and give it your best, just like this little peanut did. Bravo!!

Women's Breakaway Calf Roping...Goshen Stampede. It's not without risk, horses running at full speed trying to keep up with an uncooperative calf. Exciting action.

Trick Rider at the Goshen Stampede. Anyone who's been on horseback knows what it takes to do this. Amazing teamwork between horse and rider!!
