For I'm putting the spotlight on my favorite jet of all time: the Cessna A-37 Dragonfly and its predecessor the T-37 Tweet.

The Dragonfly gained notoriety in the Vietnam War for being a small but seriously mighty close air support plane. This 6,000-lb jet could carry roughly half its own weight in na**lm and drop it with incredibly high accuracy.

I always love a good "small but mighty" aircraft!

This Dragonfly and Tweet are located at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, OH.

For this week, I'm showing off the Vought F4U Corsair carrier-based fighter-bomber - easily one of the most iconic warbird silhouettes in the US arsenal during WWII and the Korean War.

The Corsair pictured here is a Goodyear FG-1D variant at The Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA (taken on my recent visit on December 7th 2025).
