Can you guys even believe this weather here in Ohio? This has been one of the best weeks ever - the warm weather, the colors on display, and of course, the many smiles in front of my camera (including this cutie fam from this evening 🥹)!

I have one more Fall Petite Session available for this Friday, October 30th, at 6pm...if anyone wants to soak up this goodness with me! Can be used for a family session, senior, maternity, or pictures with your BFF! Payment plans are available if needed! 🤍

Homeschool Picture Day was SO much fun! Even my Amazon Driver, who pulled up just as the last family was leaving, said "wow, this looks like a good time!"

So thankful we were blessed with a beautiful day with lots of sunshine (even though I had to pivot the set-up at 4pm because of the sun 🤪).

So, my tree that is usually a gorgeous red by now is apparently not ready to participate in fall this year 😂🍃 Sooo, I moved our setup to the back of my property, and honestly?! I’m LOVING how it turned out! Huge shoutout to Pot-Luck Greenhouse for their amazing mums & pumpkins!

A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT YOUR GALLERY + BLACK & WHITE IMAGES

I just had a new family bring up a really great question in their booking questionnaire this morning. And it got me thinking that this might be something worth sharing here and with any new families that book with me!

Every gallery I deliver includes all of your images in color. Always! 🤎

But every once in a while, there’s a photograph that I feel takes on a whole new depth of emotion when it’s edited in black & white. Maybe it’s a tear rolling down a cheek, a quiet moment between the two of you, or an embrace that says more than words ever could.

Those are the moments I may choose to edit in black & white in addition to the color version.

You won’t find your entire gallery duplicated in black & white. Instead, I sprinkle those images throughout your gallery intentionally, when I feel the absence of color draws your attention to the emotion, connection, or story unfolding in the frame.

For me, photography has always been about more than just how a moment looked. It’s about how it felt. And sometimes, a black & white edit brings that feeling to life in a way that color simply doesn’t.

So if you’re a color-loving person, don’t worry! You’ll receive your beautiful color images, with a few thoughtfully chosen black & white photographs sprinkled in along the way. 🥹🤍

Cannot stop thinking about Sidney & Ian’s beautiful fall wedding at the sweetest little old church this past weekend. 🥹 There were so many tears, and you know I just love an emotional groom!

These two have the kind of love that makes you smile just watching them together, and their wedding day was such a beautiful reflection of that. No huge production, no over-the-top details. Just a charming little church, the people who mean the most to them, so many happy tears, and two people who couldn’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.

There’s something so special about intimate weddings. The slower moments, the emotions that aren’t hidden, the way you can really soak in what the day is all about. When you strip everything back to what matters most, sometimes the sweetest memories are made in the simplest places.

Sidney & Ian, I’m so honored you trusted me to capture these memories for you. Your day was such a sweet reminder of why I love what I do!

And if you’re dreaming of a smaller, more intimate wedding of your own, please know that those days are every bit as worthy of being documented beautifully. I would love to be part of it. ✨
