HI ARTISTS ! For years I have gladly shared my photography art to painted, sculpted and reproduced ! It has been a joy seeing my photographs through another artist's eyes. After 6 years I have streamlined this to a degree, still offering complimentary permission to students and NON COMMERCIAL artists who are honing their skills (small donations ALWAYS appreciated), but have now structured permissions for commercialization of the works. Here's the basic page as I develop the process. Right now this links to my ART SUBLIMINA COLLECTION. An artist friendly, specific shots gallery is in progress and will update SOON!

I had the pleasure of photographing new installation work at the NC ZOO, Sculptor Tomm Frahm stopped me as he was installing two large TIGER SCULPTURES for the new ASIA Exhibit to see if I could get some installation shots! His work is amazing. Keep an eye out for me posting links to his work!

Hi ALL!!! Exciting news. To help celebrate my 60th year on the planet I will be taking a trip to the San Francisco Bay Area , SEPT 25-OCT 11 !
Headed to The Golden City to capture peak bird migrations, the Presidio, Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Farallon Island, the whimsical Sea Lions of Pier 39, The Steinhart Aquarium, and The Bison Paddock of Golden Gate park!
Including a trip North to Sequoia National Park!
Last day in the city I will be attending the 2026 WILDLIFE CONSERVATION EXPO! To meet and network with conservationists from around the globe.
A fun side note is that I have been co-writing a TV pilot set in San Fran this past year and it will amazing to be in all the locations we are using!

I love discovering collisions of subject, light and mood. It's an adventure of discovery on every walk with my lens. Instead of peering out over the river as I walked I started looking for smaller more hidden stories. On a small tree, near the ground this empty cicada nymphmade the perfect subject. Just 30 minutes before sunset the sun was golden and reflecting off the river straight through this empty shell. The flora surrounding the tree base added motion and color contrast. OBSESSED.
