A few of my pictures from the Corky blvd Fire today, 8/27/26.

It was amazing to see the number of people that assisted:
Fire Departments: Wills Point, Myrtle Springs, Edgewood, Grand Saline, Mabank, Kaufman Vol, Terrel Vol, College Mound, Elmo, Point, Emory, Sand Flats, Smith county ESD2.
Texas Forestry Service, Palestine
Trinity Valley Electric Co-op
Law Enforcement: Wills Point, Wills Point ISD, Texas DPS, Constable, Precinct 3 Jeff Caughron

I am sure there are more, but it was a definite team effort and no loss of homes or lives.

10 years! Wow, it doesn't seem that long.

Quinton finished his high school year as Valedictorian. He has since completed a Master's Degree from Liberty University.

His High School Senior session was a lot of fun.

Fantastic! Jennifer and Bryan recited the pledge to Bible during a recent game day with Sharon's Place. They have been memorizing and practicing with Lexi so they could recite it to their friends.

The Bible Pledge is: "I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God's Holy Word. I will make it a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. And will hide its words in my heart, that I might not sin against God."

Back to school for Jaxen and Stirling. Classes begin tomorrow. Jaxen is in 5th and Stirling 4th.

Wesley Pruitt, local musician! Thanks for working with me for the Explore, Summer 2026 magazine for Van Zandt County, published by the Van Zandt News.

Wesley was performing at Native Son in Canton in late May, so I photographed him there. A week or so later we did some photos at the county line on Hwy 19 North.

Thank you Wesley! One of your pictures is on a full page in the magazine, one with some information about you and another on the content page.
I added some other pictures from our photo sessions.

A few more pictures with Jesus Saves 26 and Time to Revive. I went out with Shawn and Carter in the Baptismal truck. Driving around town got us a lot of attention and opportunities to speak with people about Jesus and pray.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." John 3:16-18

Hey Cody Paul, you made the cover!

Thanks for working with me on this project. The EXPLORE Van Zandt County magazine. The magazine is a free publication found at various businesses throughout the county or at the VZ Newspaper office in Canton.

Edited, 7/29/26 to add the other pictures of Cody in the magazine along with the write up from David Kapitan. Plus some of the other pictures of Cody that were considered for the magazine.
