One year ago, we were getting ready for “family” photos on the beach in Florida. 🤍
We had taken a family vacation after my dad’s last chemo, and Chandler decided that’s where he wanted to propose to my sister.
She always said she wanted her proposal to be a big surprise… but she’s also the nosiest person I know.
As we were doing our makeup for the “family” photos, she looks at me and says, “When Chandler proposes, I want it to be so romantic with red roses…” blah blah blah. And I was like, “Ummm yeah, for sure… I’ll make note of that.” 🙃
Meanwhile, I knew exactly what was about to happen.
An hour later, we’re on a crowded part of the beach, and I’m lowkey panicking because there is absolutely no clear spot for this proposal. 😂
We finally choose a spot, take a family photo, I pass the ring off to Chandler… and then he gets down on one knee.
And as soon as he did, I looked around and realized the beach had magically cleared. 😂 Somehow, the one spot that had been so crowded just moments before was suddenly completely open around them.
She cried and was so surprised. It couldn’t have worked out more perfectly ❤️
One year later, and I still love that I got to be part of this moment. 🥹
