Some more pics from the Flint Hills workshop from the weekend before last. When you have 2000 pictures to go through, picking out a few is hard.

The little calf was born the night before we were there. We got to witness him heading out to pasture with mom for the first time. It was such an awesome experience.

I got to do something that I've been wanting to do for years. Probably the closest that I'll get to my childhood dream of being a cowboy. It was so fun walking out with the herd and seeing how real cowboys work. Thank you to Crystal Socha Photography and Flint Hills Ranchin Adventures for hosting this workshop. Today was the 110th birthday of the National Park Service. Established on August 25th, 1916 by President Woodrow Wilson, the NPS is responsible for the care of the 63 national parks and 433 total national sites. I've only been to a few, but my hope is to someday be able to visit many more.

I have had one of my landscape photos selected to be published in the latest landscape issue of Shutter Up Magazine. This is actually the 4th time that I have been selected for publication by Shutter Up. I had not posted about it before, simply because I never thought to do it.

It's been a while since I've been able to get a good sunrise. This morning's was a perfect one...with a rainbow bonus.

Looking for anyone local to the Rose Hill/Derby/Andover/Wichita area that may have an old "Woody" car (see example pic) that could be used for a photo backdrop at the upcoming Rose Hill Summer Carnival on July 18th.

Also looking for any Rose Hill logo signs or banners that can be used in the photo booth. Just wanting things that have the RH and/or Rocket logo on them. The theme for the photo booth is Red Hot Rocket Summer with a mix of local and summer beach flavors.
