I love telling the story of who they are through those kinds of images. The ones where their eyes light up, they get a mischievous grin or busts of contagious laughter - it's just priceless. 🙌

These next two weeks are going to be the craziest... scratch that.
These next few months are going to be the craziest months of my life, I can feel it coming. I've really given this my all and I'm in for the long hall. I've got sessions, I've got classes, and I've got tons of editing, creating, and perfecting my workflow. So, so much coming that I can't wait to share it with you. But until then, I will continue to share past work like this photograph from a session for my girls from my RA days.

The toughts from my last post ensues.
I think God understood that I wanted a second chance and he gave it to me through these beautiful girls. This time, I took initiavite (though not at first) and spoke to them. They got to know me, we had korean language lessons and I even got to photograph them. So I take this as a win. This is was during my time working as a Residen Assistant almost two years ago.

I just realized that almost every shoot I've ever had has sentimental value to me. This one, was when I truly fell in love with the Day-in-life documentary photography style. It makes me feel at peace and brings me back to that quiet snowy Christmas in Haviland, where I had the most fun with a family who hosted me and my friend Joy (photographed) in for winter break.

If you know me you know I'm absolutely obsessed, enamored with Korean culture. I was so blessed to have met her. She taught me my first few Korean words. She was the sweetest person ever and I think it's one of my biggest regrets I didn't get to know her before that. Because right after, she moved to a different state. So I guess the moral of the story is don't waste time entertaining fearful thoughts of potential awkwardness and just meet people you wanna meet. Because you never know what tomorrow holds.
