Class Description:
Spend a full day with award-winning portrait artist Chris Fritchie exploring the creative process behind his children’s fine art imagery. This hands-on workshop will cover dramatic lighting, purposeful posing, storytelling, and the thought process that turns a portrait into a finished piece of art.
Chris will demonstrate how he photographs with the final image already in mind, then take those captures into post-production to share the Photoshop and editing techniques he uses to build atmosphere, depth, drama, and emotion.

John & Cindy La Barge recently hosted a KPPA Non-Merited f:stop on Dance Photography. They taught attendees how to create a successful dance photography program from the ground up. Everyone walked away with practical tools and knowledge to implement immediately.
We would like to thank John and Cindy for hosting and sharing their expertise with those who attended. They are true professionals and believe in education and active involvement in the photographic community. They have been past presidents of the Kansas Professional Photographers Association, and have demonstrated their commitment to supporting and inspiring fellow photographers. They foster trust and respect among many industry peers. Over the years, J&C Imaging has grown with the industry, but their core philosophy remains: build relationships, take care of people, and create photography with lasting value-fostering confidence and trust in their approach.
