A few nights ago, as we stepped off the boat, Axel and I noticed something incredible. A tiny spider spinning its web from the side of our golf cart. 🕷️✨

Then as the golf cart's LED lights shifted through different colors, the spider and its web seemed to come alive, glowing in the darkness. It was one of those simple and beautiful moments that most people would walk right past, but Axel insisted I get the photo even though I explained it’s hard to take the picture at night.

The challenge? Night photography isn't easy even with a phone, it’s even more challenging with a full frame camera even when you have the right tools. With very little light, no tripod, no long exposure, and only the flashlight from my phone propped up on a seat, I had to get creative. Using the changing LED lights from the golf cart and a little patience, I was able to capture this tiny nighttime artist at work.

Not too shabby for a spider, a iPhone flashlight, and a little determination/motivation from my 4 year old 🖤📸✨

✨ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

This summer is bringing some HUGE changes for my family and my photography business! 🤍📸

My family recently purchased an RV park down at Grand Lake, Oklahoma, which means I’ll officially be expanding my client base to that area as well, and spending the majority of my summers and many weekends at the lake! 🌅

If you know me, you know my camera goes wherever I go because capturing moments is truly one of my greatest joys. So I am SO excited to start photographing amazing families making unforgettable memories at Grand Lake this summer. From lake days and campfires to sunsets, boat days, and barefoot babies running through the grass… I cannot wait to capture it all. ✨

For my Wichita clients, don’t worry! Wichita is still home, and I’ll still be returning every couple of weeks this summer and booking sessions while I’m back. I already have several sessions booked, so please continue reaching out! 🤍

I’m a mama to three amazing boys who motivate me every single day, and I’ve been with my husband, who is also my absolute best friend , since we were 11 years old. 🥹

👩‍🏫I’m also a 5th grade teacher who just wrapped up my 9th year teaching!
🎶I love music of all kinds.
📚books have always been my favorite escape, and if I’m intensely staring at my phone, there’s a very good chance I’m reading on my Kindle app. 🤪

⛺️being outdoors whenever possible.
I’m also a crazy animal lady who fully believes she can communicate with animals. 😂

Photography has always been so much more to me than simply taking pictures. I don’t just want to capture the “everyone smile at the camera” moments. I want to capture the feeling behind them. The laughter, the chaos, the connection, the adventure, the emotion. I want you to look back at your images years later and truly feel that memory all over again. Because the experience is just as important as the image itself. 🤍

I am SO excited for this new chapter and cannot wait to meet all of the amazing people this journey brings. Grand Lake… I’m ready for you. ✨

Some sessions stay with you long after they’re over… and this was one of them. 🤍

This sweet boy graduated Pre-K this past week, and I had the honor of capturing such a special milestone for him. From the moment I met Remy, I was blown away by how calm, respectful, and genuinely kind he was. Even with the chaos of a school field day happening all around us. Kids running, yelling, games everywhere, he stayed focused and gave his absolute best the entire session.

What touched me most was the way he spoke about his dad. With so much love and wisdom beyond his years, he shared that even though his dad has passed, he knows he’s still with him every day. Mom & him made sure to include his dad’s photo and the necklace carrying his thumbprint in these images, and it made this session feel even more meaningful. 🤍

Remy may be leaving preschool behind, but he already knows exactly who he is and where he’s headed. The future is going to be something special for this little guy. 🎓✨
