Coming from a photographer who spent most of this past year second shooting…not for myself, but to build connections, support other creatives, and prove (to both clients and photographers) that a second shooter pays off.

I’m so passionate about building community instead of competition. Showing up as a reliable, supportive second shooter is the most impactful way I learned how. I LOVE second shooting, it has made me more creative, a better friend, and photographer in general.

Always support the lead in ways that make their job easier. You are there to offer variety for their client. Get creative but know when to step in and when to step back.

This job is a community. When you show up with professionalism, humility, and consistency, people remember. And that reputation? That’s what opens doors long after the wedding day ends!
