I don’t usually drink while I’m working, but after 9 hours together they handed me tequila and… LISTENNNNN. I love tequila and I love them. 😂

POV: 3 of your daughters-in-law are pregnant at the same time… so obviously you gather the women in your family & throw it back to the 1950s. 🍰🥞☎️

When this family reached out wanting to do something a little different, I was ALL IN. 😭😍

4 daughters-in-law.
3 babies on the way.
1 daughter.
Grandbabies.
Grandma.
Great grandma.
& generations of women all together in 1 kitchen. 🥹

Instead of a traditional family session, we turned it into a full little vintage world — polka dots, pancakes, Coca-Cola bottles, baking, flour fights & just the right amount of chaos. 😂

AND THAT is the kind of family photography I want more of.

Not just everyone standing together smiling at the camera, but creating something that actually feels like you. Something your kids will look back on one day and say, “Wait… Grandma did WHAT while everyone was pregnant?!” 😭

A little nostalgic.
A little ridiculous.
A whole lot of love.

& probably one of the most creative (& really fun) family sessions I’ve ever photographed. ♥️

Consider this my official application for more wildly specific family shoot ideas. 😂 Give me a theme & let me RUN WITH IT.

This is the part no one talks about.
(…or maybe I do, because I genuinely never stop talking about it! 😂)

It’s not the long hours or the heavy camera bag.

It’s catching yourself in the middle of an ordinary workday & thinking,

“I can’t believe I get to do this.”

Not because every day is easy but because every day is meaningful.

Thank you for every inquiry, every referral, every booking, every hug at the end of a session & every couple who has trusted me to tell their story.

I’ll never stop being grateful for this life. ❤️✨

A little transparency & vulnerability: behind the dreamy photos, booked weekends, the red camera & the dream career… there were also moments that tested me deeply— personally, emotionally, financially, and mentally.

I’ve gotten comments before like: “your life seems so perfect” or “you’re always so happy.”

& truthfully… I am a VERY “half glass full,” “everything happens for a reason,” always smiling kind of girl. The one hyping everyone else up, romanticizing life & showing up with love no matter what season I’m in.

BUT I also think social media can make it easy to assume someone’s life is perfect just because they share the beautiful moments.

This isn’t a pity post. It’s just a reminder that you truly never know what someone is navigating behind the scenes. ♥️

And maybe… a reminder to myself that continuing to show up through all of it is something to be proud of too.

It’s not luck.
It’s continuing to show up with love through every season. ♥️

Snagged another day here… hallelujah!! ♥️

This venue feels like stepping into a little storybook — slow mornings, barefoot babies, overflowing greenery, soft light pouring in through every corner. OBSESSED. ✨

These spring sessions are quickly becoming some of my favorite things to photograph lately. The in-between moments, the curiosity, the tiny hands, the chaos that somehow still feels so tender & beautiful all at once. ✨

Forever documenting the soft little moments that end up meaning everything. ♥️
