We are officially in the dead heat of summer, which means my session schedule involves chasing that early morning light before the real humidity kicks in! 📸☀️

While we're all doing our best to stay cool, this verse is a wonderful reminder of the ultimate refreshment we have. Watching new chapters unfold for my clients, even in the middle of a July heatwave, is such a beautiful reminder of growth and new beginnings. 🌾🎓

✨ Sharing a throwback from Washington of this amazing family! 🏔️✨

I’ll let you in on a little secret: I was actually a bit nervous heading into this session! I’m so used to focusing on seniors and smaller, immediate families, so stepping into a larger group dynamic had me on my toes. But the moment we started chatting and laughing in this beautiful field, all those nerves completely melted away.

It turned out absolutely amazing! They asked for a posed photo of all of them then individual family photos of them interacting and honestly, it reminded me just how much I love capturing generations coming together. Look at those smiles!

Now that I’m fully settled and building roots here in North Carolina, looking back at these memories makes me so excited for the busy season ahead. Stepping outside of my comfort zone in Washington taught me exactly how to handle groups with ease, making sure everyone, from the toddlers to the grandparents, feels completely relaxed and has fun in front of my lens.

Whether you have a household of two or a whole crew to coordinate, you can trust me to capture your family's real, beautiful connections. I'd love to get you in front of my camera! 📸🌾
