W.I.P. I was stuck finishing one of my handmade 3D paper sculptures because I didn’t know how I was going to frame it or display it. I was playing around with wooded cradles and came up with a perfect way to frame my 3D paper artwork. First, I wanted to stain the wood so it’s a more natural representation of this specific 3D paper artwork. I found this non-toxic, water soluble, Teak Wood stain. Now, the color of Teak wood if left untreated has an ash (cool) patina undertone, this stain has a bit of a warm undertone, (more amber than golden) which I actually love. It looks more like a touch of fresh cedar than it does teak. Can’t wait to brush on a satin sealer to keep the color exactly the way it is with just a tiny bit of contrast. Follow me to see more ❤️
