Old friends, new friends and NYSPA. What a fun (and slightly surreal) day connecting my Cornell days, with people from several previous jobs and of course my love of spas that connects all the dots. Learned some great new tidbits and just loved connecting with everyone. Which is saying a lot since I’m such an introvert. Always fun to enjoy the nyc vibe too.

In life, and in work, relationships are everything… they are like planting seeds of collaboration and growth. It took me a long time to get that because I’m such an introvert. But here is one relationship I truly want to acknowledge and honor. I’ve known Sallie of for 18 years, and she has been the extrovert to my introvert ever since! She has been so generous in her approach to our collaboration… whether by hiring me when I was 27, letting me work from home before the term telecommuting even existed, or helping me make the connections needed to forge ahead in my own business with and . I owe more gratitude to this earth angel than I can ever express. That’s what it means to truly connect. And now, after 18 years of knowing each other, the seeds of our intentions are truly coming into bloom with our first collaborative event: The Beauty of Connection.
