Well, this is a pretty exciting way to end the day! 😲

A HUGE thank you to every single one of you who subscribes, watches our videos, comments, shares, sends us messages, and keeps coming back for more of our questionable decisions!

Growing a YouTube channel is definitely a slow process, but we're perfectly happy being the tortoise instead of the hare.

We're not entirely sure where we're going half the time anyway, so there's really no rush! 😂

We genuinely love making these videos and sharing all the ups, downs, incredible views, wrong turns, bike drops, and occasional marital negotiations along the way.

The fact that you take time out of your day to watch two newbies figure things out as we go really does mean the world to us. 💜

We're so grateful for every one of you and couldn't be happier to have you along for this crazy journey!

Tomorrow's episode we are hoping to hit some back roads on the motorbikes today we head out of Ruiz and it's not long before we are headed the wrong way, which is no surprise. 🫪

Making a turn in a pullout to head back someone decides to take a bike nap along the highway causing some friction and creating a bit of a sour mood.

As we continue towards San Blas we find a fun looking field that might not work out as we had hoped because it seems to be on fire and we wonder if we should attempt it or turn around again!

This episode is full of lots of wrong turns, frustration and waiting but ends with a great place to rest our heads for the night and some unexpected views that didn't seem possible with the way the day seemed to be going.

In this episode we continue on highway 23 and it continues to deliver beautiful views.... 😍

As we take them in, watching for potholes, debris and abrupt edges time seems to be getting away from us.

We don't like being on the road this late especially on a backroad in Mexico. So we need to hurry and get to where we are going but the traffic is getting worse back here and the kilometers don't seem to be going down very fast.

Will we make it to Ruiz or are we going to have to find a place to camp along the road?

Luckily for us we have never had to deal with an
emergency while traveling. But that doesn't mean we
are not prepared. 🤔

Here are a few of the ways we stay ready in case
something happens to us or someone around us.

First we pack a first aid kit with us at all times on the
bikes. Not just any first aid kit, we bought one that is
designed for hunting accidents, which means it can
deal with punctures from anything sharp...

Now a first aid kit is only useful if you know how to
use the contents inside, everyone knows how to put a
bandaid on, but what if there is a tree in the hole you
want to bandaid up.

So we went searching and found a FREE wilderness first aid course that also has the option to upgrade and become certified in CPR.

And now the final and maybe the most important
piece of hardware is our ZOLEO.

This is our emergency communication device.
In the event we need to be rescued and we can't just
get an ambulance, we use the Zoleo to get the next
best thing... A helicopter.

Todays episode....Mexico’s Highway 23.... 😳

Not many people ride it, and apparently even fewer talk about it! So with barely any information out there, we figured we'd go see what it's all about....

Well… Highway 40, you've officially been demoted! 🤣

The views were INSANE, and this road might just be one of Mexico's best-kept secrets.
