Raise your hand if you’ve launched something you were genuinely proud of and it still didn’t land the way you expected. 🙋‍♀️

It’s more common than you think — and it’s not always about the offer itself.

One thing I see a lot: women entrepreneurs who have leveled up significantly, but whose brand photos still reflect an older version of their business. The offer says one thing. The visuals say another. And potential clients feel that disconnect even if they can’t explain it.

I wrote about this on the blog this week, with a few examples that might hit close to home. Go give it a read and let me know if this resonates — I’d love to hear where you are with your brand visuals right now.

Studio light or spring blooms — either way, now is a beautiful time for new headshots.

There’s something about this season that makes people actually want to show up. The light is softer, everything feels a little more alive, and somehow that comes through in photos.

Whether you want something clean and classic indoors or fresh and natural outside, we can make it work for where you are right now — and make sure your headshot actually looks like you.

Spring has a way of making growth feel inevitable.

Everything is expanding, refreshing, showing up in a new way. Your brand can do the same.

If you’ve evolved your business — new offerings, a clearer niche, a stronger sense of who you serve — but your visuals haven’t caught up yet, now is the time. Updated brand photography isn’t just a refresh. It’s your business stepping into what it’s already become.

Somewhere in my head I’m on a tropical island.

Warm breeze. No emails. A drink with a little umbrella in it.

Back in reality — I’m here, and so is your brand photography session. And while I can’t promise you a beach, I can promise that having a library of beautiful, on-brand images ready to go makes running your business feel a whole lot closer to easy.

Less scrambling for content. Less “I have nothing to post.” More showing up with intention — even from a hammock someday. 🌴

You don’t have to love being in front of a camera to have brand photos that actually look like you.

You just have to be willing to show up. The rest is my job.

Most marketing strategies involve a lot of words.

Photography does the work faster.
A strong image stops the scroll, communicates your value, and builds trust — before anyone reads a single caption. For business owners, that’s not a small thing.

That’s the difference between being seen and being skipped.
Your photos are working (or not working) for you around the clock. Make sure they’re saying the right things.

Q: My product photos aren’t bad — but my sales feel stuck. Could photography actually be the issue?

Maybe. And it’s worth finding out.

When someone is shopping online, they can’t touch, smell, or try your product. Your photos are doing all of that sensory work. If they’re not showing the texture, the scale, the feeling of what you make — buyers hesitate. And hesitation usually means they move on.

Good product photography doesn’t just show what something looks like. It makes someone imagine having it.

That’s the difference. Link in bio

Q: I want updated headshots, but I’m nervous about being in front of the camera. Is it just me that feels this way?

Nope! It’s completely normal to feel uncomfortable at the thought of getting professional photos done. Most of my clients feel this way walking in.

Being photographed can feel vulnerable — especially when the photos matter. But nervousness and great results aren’t mutually exclusive. My job isn’t just to take photos. It’s to make sure you feel comfortable enough that the real you actually shows up in them.

The clients who were most nervous beforehand? Often end up with their favorite photos.

Q: Can’t I just use a good photo from my phone for a headshot?

A sharp phone photo is better than a blurry one. But “not bad” isn’t the same as “working for you.”

Your headshot is often the very first thing a potential client sees. It’s showing up on your website, your LinkedIn, your email signature, your press features. It’s doing a job — and a casual snapshot, even a great one, usually doesn’t have the lighting, framing, or intention to do it well.

You don’t need to look like someone else. You just need a photo that actually looks like you at your best.

That’s what I’m here for. Link in bio!

Q: How often should I update my brand photos?

A good rule of thumb: when your business has grown past your photos, it’s time.

If you’ve changed your offerings, shifted your niche, rebranded, or just evolved — but your photos still show who you were two years ago — there’s a disconnect your audience can feel, even if they can’t name it.

Most of my clients refresh every 12–18 months. Some more often. It’s not about vanity — it’s about staying aligned with the business you’re actually running.
