For this set, I wanted to capture a dreamy, editorial film look—anchored by the sheer scale of this grand staircase and the striking contrast of deep, architectural shadows. absolutely commanded the space. The way she moved, letting that vibrant red fabric cascade down the steps, brought an effortless, quiet drama to every single frame. The way the natural light catches her curls and highlights the leading lines of the railing makes this feel less like a photoshoot and more like a still from a movie. There is a certain magic that happens when classic architecture meets modern elegance. For this set, I wanted to strip back the vibrant colors and focus purely on structure, silhouette, and mood.

Shooting with the incredibly talented is always an elevated experience. Maureen brings an unparalleled level of professionalism to the set and possesses this rare ability to shift the entire narrative of a frame with just a subtle change in her gaze or the tilt of her chin.
We leaned into a cinematic, slightly moody aesthetic for this set, letting the soft, natural light shape the scene. The juxtaposition of her structured black dress and the edgy leather gloves against the timeless stonework of the balcony gave us the perfect canvas to play with. From the striking, direct eye contact in the opening frames to the softer, introspective moments at the end, she carried the vision effortlessly.

Tracking rhythm with Oscar ().

If you know his feed, you know the branding: a saxophone player who raps, and a rapper who plays the sax. He brings a distinct, multi-hyphenate energy to the NYC creative scene —subverting expectations whether he’s behind an instrument or, in this case, stepping back into his model roots in front of a lens.

For this set, the goal was to capture that transition between his natural performance energy and moments of stillness against the Lower East Side skyline.
