Weekend plans??? Yep, Editing... Lots of editing

I am a bit behind in posting and I am so excited to share some of my favorite photos from this past month. May is soooooo busy with grads and the start of wedding season. Let me get this party started by sharing one of my fav grad sessions!

💐💐💐Congrats to this bad ass mama Samantha right here! She just graduated with her master's and celebrated with her husband and kids cheering her on. I absolutely loved this gorgeous golden hour session... especially since the whole family came along!

This session was even more exciting for me because I photographed Samantha's daughter Emily when she graduated a few years ago! This really came full circle. Be sure to scroll all the way through and see Emily again!

🎉Congratulations Catherine CO '26!

We had the most beautiful evening on campus discussing books, hobbies, favorite hangouts and what Catherine will miss most after her time here at Purdue.

Catherine majored in biological sciences, is on track for vet school and I am thrilled for her future!!

I hope her album is something she can hold, and remember all the hard work she put in, and the moment she finished. This will bring her strength when she is knee deep in vet school and she will remember there is a light at the end. ♥️

This sweet couple right here....Dalton and Skylar are getting married tomorrow. I am so excited and so blessed to be able to capture their wedding story.... can't wait!!

When you add some new gals to your flock because you want all the colors 🤣

Yep....we did that. Hens are so much fun and give an array of various egg colors....how could you not want to "catch them all"??

Don't be surprised if you receive a non traditional gift of homemade sourdough loaves and fresh eggs when you sign on with Mollie Wenzel Photography..... Is that weird? I just want all people to experience fresh baked bread from the oven and eggs from happy hens that are oh so loved ♥️

It's my birthday today and I'm counting tootsie pics!!

I'm loving this recent newborn session for the newest Boer family addition. He is absolutely perfect! But I have to be honest ..as I am editing and posting, I'm asking myself "did I take too many pics of those Piggly wigglies"? I have been photographing this favorite family since Alyssa was announcing their first baby on the way...and I am wondering if I have always been this obsessed with tootsies haha!!

Well anyhow, the years are whirling by. I am another year older...the Boer's baby girl is now a big sister to this sweet little gem with all his perfect 10 piggies....and I am just sitting here another year grateful. I will keep counting my blessings while I count those sweet baby toes!

🎄Have a Merry Christmas full of those IN-BETWEEN moments that make life LIFE!!!🎄

I love your smiles...but what I'm really hunting for in our sessions are those moments ..the real ones.

Give me your hair flying in the wind, those laughs that might make your chin double...those siblings that are caught being nice to each other....because here's the thing...
What makes your life so worth living is the way the sun light shines through her hair like a halo. The way she lights up when you toss her up in the air, all the boys coming together during your wedding day to truly celebrate your past present and future. It's the dog licking his face and making him giggle. It's the oh man this is not the "perfect" picture....but actually it is. Its the naughty thing he whispered in your ear after you said your vows in front of your nearest and dearest. It's running through the street together....and realizing you would follow him anywhere...

Your life may be super hectic ...but think about all those little, tiny, precious moments ..those slices of life and enjoy it. Merry Christmas 🎄

Our Christmas 🎄 Parade was so much fun!!! Dezmonde's high school marching band did so well despite the freezing temps. We saw so many creative floats, and thanks to we had awesome drinks, a place to warm up, and arcade games for the kids!! I just adore this little big town of mine!!

What a magical evening with this lovely couple, I hope you will join me in congratulating them on their engagement 🥂🥂🥂

It's the blues here in the Midwest with the sun only popping out for appearances here an there...but I am just quietly over here trying to get through all my fall sessions and really loving this light!! I will be forever chasing that sun haha!! This couple totally gave me full permission to get them "off road" in that gorgeous golden light I live for.

"The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" is literally humming through my head while I'm editing fall sessions....but I'm not thinking about Christmas. I am thinking of crispy leaves, colors that are poppin, and the golden light that is chase worthy.

I just can't get enough of this time of the year! And this sweet family that has graced the front of my camera time and time again is expecting a baby. I just cannot wait to meet the sweetling!
