Joshua Tann Photography Travel and Fine Art Photography Joshua Tann Photography - Architectural Vision

I love creating images from my surroundings, particularly when I travel.

I believe that photography is the best medium for me for my creative work. Most of my photographic images are influenced by my love of art and architecture, something that was nurtured throughout my youth and adulthood, despite my profession as a psychotherapist. I created this website to share my interests for the world's architecture and capturing it through my own vision. The linear edge of a m

onument, the curves of a colonnade, the intricate details of a Corinthian column or the ornate fresco; all represent centuries of wonderful world of architecture. I try to create a vision of a structure from its psychological space and its function for humanity. A building is usually built for people since the beginning of time. For instance, the purpose of a house is to fulfill people's need for shelter and safety, and similarly, the purpose of a cathedral or a temple is to fulfill humanity's need to worship its god or deity.

I’m glad to be included in PH21 Gallery again in Barcelona on their In(Organic) exhibit. Thank you Zsolt Batori and Borbála Jász!

From the website :
The organic and the inorganic shape our world, forming the essence of both natural landscapes and human-made environments. Their dynamic interaction – whether in harmony or contrast – defines our visual and conceptual experiences. The (In)Organic exhibition invites photographers to explore these dualities: the natural and the artificial, the living and the inanimate, the spontaneous and the constructed. Through photography, we seek to reveal the aesthetic, symbolic, and conceptual dialogues between these realms. From the human body to vast landscapes, from architectural structures to intimate interiors and still lifes, the exhibition welcomes both representational and abstract works that challenge, redefine, and reimagine the boundaries between organic and inorganic forms.
