Join in the life-nourishing practice of “Looking for the good in life ...and finding it!” Affirming Lens Photography organically came into being on a life-challenging 100 + degree day(F). I walked down to the river and reveled in the coolness and vista under the bridge. I began to take photographs of the river and a huge branch of drift wood stuck between the pillars. I felt so uplifted being pres

ent with nature. I noticed how much gratitude & awe I felt. These vibes seemed to come through my images. As a photographer, I have an affirming/accepting eye for my subjects. As a writer, I apply my evolving wisdom to my words. My photography work has evolved to include photo shoots for people in support their personal and professional quests. I find joy in supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations with my gift. I have done collaborative work, some of which can now be seen on myriad websites, business & non-profits pages, and individuals' LinkedIn & dating profiles.

Every year, the crocuses find their way to the sunshine, a first sign of spring here.
Today, I was considering how hope, for me, is a quickening of an uplifting spark. When in a season, where conditions and circumstances feel like heavy shadows, I notice hope, when I nourish it, can blossom into faith & Trust.

I am thinking today about substance, the Divine, and faith. The substance I breathe, the substance I stand on, the substance that I am …all connected.

In this now moment, I breathe in the nourishing oxygen my body requires. I stand on the floor - it supports my feet from the ground below.

The One who breathes me only wants the highest best outcomes for myself and all involved in any given paradigm. I believe this is the same for you as well.

Perhaps there’s some way today you notice a way in which you are supported, breathed? …in your life. Or consider a way you’d like to be supported — that would be life nourishing for you.

Into December we go!
After peeling my ginger, I noticed a heart shape emerge. I turned the board around and I considered my earlier intention to practice today. And so I went into creation mode to share with you this. There’s a link between ginger and Sacred noticing; they both are anti-inflammatories.
