MONDAY MINDSET

So many of us carry old stories about money… stories that tell us it’s hard to come by, that we don’t deserve more, or that success has to look a certain way. These blocks sneak into our business decisions and keep us playing small.

This week, I want you to pause and ask yourself: What’s the money story I’ve been repeating? And more importantly… is it even mine, or did I pick it up from someone else?

Your worth isn’t tied to someone else’s belief system. You get to rewrite the story. You get to decide that abundance is possible, that your talent deserves to be paid well, and that financial growth doesn’t mean sacrificing integrity.

Start your Monday by giving yourself permission to let go of those blocks and step into the version of you who welcomes wealth, opportunity, and ease.

Stop believing you need to work harder... start building systems that work for you.

The hustle mentality tells you to just work longer hours. But the real shift happens when you realize systems, not stress, are what grow your photography business. A repeatable workflow creates consistency, saves you time, and gives clients a smoother experience. That’s what leads to word-of-mouth referrals and repeat bookings.

Marketing Tip: Consistency Is Your Strategy

So many photographers think they need a new marketing idea every week. The truth? It’s about showing up steadily.

True story: I run in to several people locally who have mentioned seeing something I posted. They may have never commented or reacted to the post or photo I've shared... but they're watching! That's the key. Show up consistently... even if you think no one is watching.

Consistency builds trust. Your audience starts to recognize you as reliable when you keep showing up. Sporadic posts make you look unpredictable.

Algorithms reward patterns. Posting at regular times signals that you’re active and relevant, which helps your reach grow.

Small steps add up. You don’t need to post every day. Even 2–3 consistent posts each week will create more momentum than a random burst of 10 posts followed by silence.

Repetition creates recognition. Your audience needs to hear the same message multiple times before they take action. Consistency keeps you top of mind when they’re ready to book.

THANKFUL THURSDAY
