Same spot....three months apart.

Ranger said he expects it to be gone before the snow comes. That's never happened before.

I also accidentally wore the EXACT same clothes.

I guess it's my ice cave hiking outfit now.

Been off the grid the last couple of days.

Getting a small dose of civilization on my way out into the unknown again.

This was my view from camp the last two days.

In case you haven't gotten the memo yet, Penny Bun is OPEN!

Delicious, beautifully cooked food!

I stopped in on opening day for coffee and a scone before the farmers market, and again today to try a sausage bun.

I could smell the meat smoking next door at Dollar General and had to see what was cooking!

They are closed on Tuesdays, so go on Wednesday and give them a try and a big welcome to our mountain community!

So many stairs!!!

Granted, my math at the trailhead may have been flawed, but regardless, there were a lot.

Such a gorgeous waterfall and worth every step!

If you watch until the end, yes I ran through the sprinkler at the end, cause life is short. Couldn't talk anyone else at the trailhead into doing it.

Such a fun paint night!

I have about zero artistic ability, so this just speaks to the skill of the instructor that this turned out as something recognizable!

There's been more than one moment on the road when I have had a craving for these things. The jojo's are spectacularly delicious.

I still have a ton of videos and photos to go through from the last couple of adventures. So expect to see a lot of stuff out of order as I collect my thoughts.
