The Trail to Golgotha Annual walk began in 2011 when the Feds Creek Baptist Church youth group had a weekend camping retreat on the grounds. The scavenger hunt led them along a wooded trail gathering clues and items that they used to construct wooden crosses to carry back to the top of the hill. It was there that several gave their lives to the Lord at the foot of the cross. The following year, t
he walk became a bit more of the focal point of the camping trip and again, more souls surrendered at the foot of the crosses. In 2013, the "Trail to Golgotha" walk was then open to the public offering an opportunity to share the story of Christ and demonstration of His life by the great price He paid that we might have life! The 1/2 mile walk consists of a trail of letters and items that describe Jesus suffering from the garden to the cross, describing in vivid detail the scourging, mocking, betrayal and crucifixion of our Savior. Come, join us on this journey...
Walk in Jesus shoes...Experience the Cross! Please note: This is a SMOKE FREE location. Absolutely NO SMOKING on the grounds or along the trail. No Electronics (cell phones, cameras, camcorders, etc) allowed on trail. Food or Beverages are not permitted on the trail, water is available before and after the walk.
