Quick Fall Season Update 📸
Fall is officially here, which means I’m entering my absolute busiest time of the year! During this season, please keep in mind that session delivery can take up to 3 weeks.
A little perspective on what goes on behind the scenes: I work a full-time job in Fort Worth, I’m a mom to a 13-year-old with travel baseball practice twice a week and junior high football every morning—with games starting soon—and I’m currently photographing sessions 3–4 days a week.
Every bit of my remaining free time goes into editing. Many nights and weekends, that means sacrificing time with my family because I truly want to get your images back to you as quickly as I can. But with sessions several days each week, not every day leaves me with hours to sit behind the computer.
And one thing that will never change about Rise Up Photography: every single image you receive is edited 100% by hand, by me. No batch editing. No volume galleries. No outsourcing. Just me, a computer, and a whole lot of time and attention to every athlete and every image.
To put that time into perspective, a team of around 15 athletes can take roughly 15 hours to complete, while a team of 30 can easily take 24+ hours of editing time.
I know everyone gets excited to see their images—and I LOVE that you’re excited! ❤️ I just ask for a little patience during these incredibly busy fall months. I would rather take the time to deliver work I’m proud to put my name on than rush through your athletes just to get a gallery out faster.
Thank you for keeping me so incredibly busy, for trusting me with your athletes, and most importantly, for understanding that great work takes time. 🖤📸
